An in-depth look at the purpose of parables in Jesus’ teaching and the first of nearly 30 parables taught throughout his ministry, the Parable of the Sower. In this parable we learn that there are four soils—referring to four heart postures. We look at each of the four soils and what they represent, as well as the role of the sower—Jesus.
